Adding Films available on youtube

Posted on: May 29th, 2012 by mbutu

Hi altogether,

well, you already know the filtermatrix on called the ‘filmbrowser’, right!? It’s the easiest way to find with few clicks what you are really interested in, but it only plays out it’s full potential on big databases. Well I guess ‘youtube’ is quite a big database of videos on the web. But did you ever stumble upon a full movie by searching on And there are good and full-length movies out there. So lets go back to cinemanders ‘flimbrowser’:
I just added a youtube-channel. So now you can easily use the power of cinemander’s searchengine to find and watch full-length movies and documentaries from youtube.
Just select ‘youtube’ in the ‘channel’-column to see only movies linked from or use any other parameter of the filtermatrix to find exactely what you’d like to see.
I’ll put any movie i’ll find to the matrix to give you more and more good stuff.
I hope you like it. If so, flattr cinemander to help us running the service. Let me know what you think!

Spaceships landing in Cologne

Posted on: June 21st, 2011 by mbutu

Yesterday we were filming a commercial for when suddenly a loud rumbling noise came from the sky.
Gladly equipped with a camera we were eye-witness of three UFOs landing at the site of the rhine in Cologne.

We are looking forward how this story will proceed. Are the visitors friendly or will they eat us?

Help us telling the story :-)

cinemander on iPad & Co.

Posted on: June 8th, 2011 by mbutu

Today we happily announce that cinemander movies can now also be watched on iPad, iPod and iPhone.
Until now this was not possible because the cinemander-Player was based on Flash and Apple-devices do not support Flash-Technology.
But thanks to our new Player we eventually also can serve HTML5 Video for being accessible on the go :)

So go and watch independent movies whenever, wherevener you want!
